2005 Dedham Road Race a success
The 28th Annual Dedham Road Race was won by Adam Sutton of the Boston Athletic Association, but his individual victory wasn't enough to lead his club to the men's team crown as the Greater Lowell trio of Casey Moulton, Lewis Jones and Mark Reeder topped the BAA, 17-18. Sutton's time of 24:32 broke David Hinga's course record of 24:47 set back in 2001. Andrea Gillespie of Reebok Boston was the women's overall winner in 30:21. She placed 24th overall, edging women's runner-up Julie Spolidoro, who came in 25th overall in 30:37. Wayne Levy set a men's masters course record of 26:08 and placed fifth overall. It was the best total showing since 2001 as 293 runners finished the race.

Andrew Wedlake, Julie Spolidoro win 2004 Dedham titles
Andrew Wedlake, of Bedford, Mass. and the Boston Athletic Association, beat runner-up Steve Bishop for the overall win at the 27th annual Dedham Road Race. Wedlake completed the five-mile course in 25:45 while Bishop finished in 26:34. Recent Boston College graduate Julie Spolidoro won the women's title in a convincing 28:33 while Orla Mahoney took second in 29:25. Bobby Bligh of the HFC Striders won the men's masters title in 27:31 while Mia Jacobs of Dedham won the women's masters crown.

Kevin Gray, Eileen Cakouros victorious in 2003
Kevin Gray, a 25-year-old from Walpole, held off Harry Starts of Boston to win the 2003 Dedham Road Race in a time of 25:55. Milton's Eileen Cakouros was the women's winner in 32:25, holding off Meaghan Shaw of Reading. Shaw was competing in her first race since finishing her career at Northeastern University. John Sullivan was the men's masters champ in 13th overall with a time of 29:26. The women's masters winner was Brenda Egizi of of Westwood in 34:49.
